Do I have a Master Recepticle on my APC Battery Backup MOdel BG550?
I’d like to shut down my PC, Monitor & speakers completely while not using them, thereby avoiding phantom power. I’m told there are master recepticles that will shut off monitors, speakers, etc when the computer tower is plugged into this master recepticle (then the tower is shut down).
I love this APC unit..but would like to know about the master recepticle if I do indeed have one.
Search for documentation (user’s guide or owner’s guide/manual) on the model number of your UPS. Also, perhaps a manual or quick start guide came with it. If a CD came with your product, check the CD for the product manual and read it.
